Knitware version 2.50
Version 2.50 of Knitware was first released on March 16, 2005. A maintenance release,
2.50.2, was issued in April 2005.
Enhancements to all programs include:

Enhancements to Sweaters include:
  • Added:
  • round yoke calculator
  • round yoke shoulder
  • Pleated and gathered options to set-in shoulders
  • Longer sweater lengths (Thigh, Above Knee, Knee, Calf, Ankle)
  • Top-down and circular options
  • Funnel collar
  • Flat front neckline
  • Sleeveless option on drop shoulder style
Enhancements to Skirts & Shawls include:
  • Extended A-line shaping below hips.
  • Added ponchos with four style/construction options:
  • two rectangles
  • four triangles
  • circular sideways
  • circular top-down.  
    (Circular ponchos can be open or closed at the front.)
Enhancements to Critter Clothes include:
  • Renamed to BASICS!

    Now allows design of basic pullover sweaters, skirts, pants, and dresses
    for people as well as dolls and stuffed animals, plus "dog" sweaters for
    four-legged pets.
  • Added standard people sizes (babies, children, women and men), to the
    existing standard sizes for dolls, stuffed animals and pets.
  • Added style options for pants and improved pants crotch shaping for
    people
