During download, installation, and/or running of Knitware 2.50,
    there are certain errors that may occur because of  problems with
    a network connection during download, security settings of the
    operating system or network on which the program(s) are being
    run, or some other aspects of an individual's computer
    environment. Although we know how to correct these problems,
    and they have lessened significantly in frequency, we have been
    unable to eliminate the problems.  

    These known problems are listed below, with links to a description
    of the problems and steps to resolve them.

FIREFOX USERS: Some customers have experienced download problems with
Firefox - most commonly, the failure for the download to complete properly, but
with no error message. If you are experiencing any problems with the download
of Knitware, please use Internet Explorer to perform the download.
